Ajith-Anushka off to KL for Thala55!

Thala55 team has completed two schedules in Chennai where the high octane action sequences involving Thala Ajith and others were canned mostly during night time.

Now we hear that Thala55 is moving to Malaysia for a new schedule starting June 10th.

Ajith, Anushka and others will be going to Malaysia. Scenes inside an aircraft will be shot in KL. Director Gautham Menon is also planning to shoot more sequences in other parts of Malaysia. Australian Dan Macarthur is the DOP for Thala55. Harris Jayaraj has reunited with  GVM after six years and the expectations are sky high regarding the music of Thala55.

Update on Vijay58

Ilayathalapathy Vijay who is currently busy with the shooting of Kaththi will be moving on next to Chimbu Devan’s Fantasy Flick – Vijay58. Vijay58 which will see the return of Bollywood  diva Sridevi after decades to Tamil industry, from where she started. It looks like she will play the role of a Princess whose province is in danger and Vijay’s character will defend her. Kannada Superstar Sudeep will play the role of the ‘guru’ to Vijay’s character who will train him in war techniques. It’s rumored that Sudeep is being paid an unheard sum to act in this movie.  Hansika is most likely to be the heroine for Vijay in this movie. Devi Sri Prasad will be doing the music. Natty Subramanian will be the DOP.

The shoot of the movie is expected to start in September.
